A large central arabesque cartouche displays the Arabic numeral 50 in bold decorative script, flanked by two pointed oval vignettes each containing the Western numeral 50. To the left of the central motif, the Cyrillic text states that the note circulates on a par with Russian credit notes, while Arabic script to the right carries the equivalent declaration.
