| Obverse description | The national arms of Rwanda — a shield bearing a dove, bow and arrow, and the motto REPUBLIQUE RWANDAISE / LIBERTE-COOPERATION-PROGRES — appears at left within a fine guilloche underprint. The denomination CINQ CENTS FRANCS and the clause PAYABLES A VUE are inscribed in bold intaglio lettering at centre, with the issue date below. Two facsimile signatures appear at the foot of the note, with their respective titles VICE-GOUVERNEUR and GOUVERNEUR. |
