Transnistria's ruble series of the early 1990s was issued by a breakaway state that declared independence from Moldova in 1990 but has never received UN recognition. The "Printed: 30.04.1945" field almost certainly refers to the original substrate or plate date, not the date of this specific note's production — a cataloging curiosity that occasionally misleads buyers into thinking the paper itself dates to the final days of World War II.
