Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in relief identifying the ruler and mint, arranged in horizontal registers across the square flan. The legend names Muhammad as Commander of the Muslims and records the Miknasah (Meknes) mint, consistent with standard Wattasid coinage practice. The strike is characteristically uneven, with areas of weak relief due to the hand-hammered production technique. The flan edges are irregular and jagged, typical of cut square silver pieces of the Wattasid period.
