| 备注 |
Aruba had only separated from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986, and the Centrale Bank van Aruba was barely operational when this note entered circulation four years later. The entire first series was a deliberate nation-building exercise, with local designer Evelino Fingal commissioned to ensure the imagery was distinctly Aruban rather than recycled from Antillean precedents.
Enschedé had printed Netherlands Antilles notes for decades, so the technical relationship was already established. At the 100 Florin level, the watermark remains the primary security measure — modest by later standards, but consistent with what the young institution could specify and procure at the time.
